Students who plan to borrow a Federal Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Student Loan to help cover their educational costs must first complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN), which is a legal agreement to repay the loan under the terms and conditions of the program. Students who attend St. Edward's generally only need to complete the MPN once. The prom note must be completed through the Department of Education's Federal Direct Loan website at studentloans.gov. St. Edward's should receive confirmation within 72 hours after you've submitted it online.
